Tillmans Barbecue Perfect 200 Beef Rub

In 2013, we entered our first barbecue contest with the Florida BBQ Association in Pompano Beach Florida.  Surrounded by friends and family, we anxiously awaited the results.  We didn't hear our name until the top 2 in brisket and then we won 1st place for brisket at our first sanctioned contest!  Since then, we've used the same brisket recipe and beef rub, earning two perfect scores (200) in the FBA, where the judges must score a 10 for a perfect score.  Though designed for beef, this savory, peppery, sweet rub is great on all meats and vegetables.
