The Victorinox Blade Safe knife edge guard has a secure locking mechanism featuring a latch that snaps shut and securely encloses the blade to keep it clean and safe for travel or storage making it ideal for on the go business, professional chefs, or for spare knives kept in a drawer or cabinet. Additionally each cover has soft rubber pads on the inside of the case that grips the blade tightly to prevent it from sliding around inside the container to keep it razor sharp and ready for use. This tough knife edge guard is made from high quality, nontoxic, food grade plastic designed to resist damage and protect hands from cuts. This protective sheath has a universal design that fits large blades 8 to 10 inches long like chef knives, bread and slicing knives, carving knives, and other specialty knives.
