Years ago, in our tiny Cackalacky Kitchen in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, we set out on a quest to brew a different kind of condiment. Our mission was simple: we wanted to create a different kind of flavor that was full of "zest" and free of harmful chemicals. And, perhaps most important of all, we wanted to make something that was deliciously different and actually makes your food taste better. So, that's exactly what we did. We called our zesty creation "Cackalacky" - the nicely spicy dressing, dip, and topping that's made with more than twenty all-natural ingredients that you can actually pronounce - including nutritious southern-grown sweet potatoes. (Yes. Sweet potatoes!) In fact, the unique list of ingredients, including vine-ripened tomatoes, aged chile peppers and burgundy wine, create one truly amazing sauce - you just have to try it. Cackalacky is OUR traditional nickname for the Carolinas - the very birthplace of the cookout culture. Cackalacky is also the name for our all-original Spice Sauce flavor. Funny name - serious zest!
